Ann Curry, tweets help find woman missing in tsunami
Canon Purdy, 25, went missing after the Japanese village she was visiting was hit by the tsunami. But she was joyfully reunited by phone with her family Monday after TODAY’s Ann Curry responded to a tweet from Purdy’s sister. “It was a great relief,” Purdy said.
